Young Life Ministries mission is to reach young people, and to expose them to God’s Word., encourage them to make the right choices, to promote positive development, and to care for one another. It is our desire to respond to youths from all walks of life, who are dealing with different issues by matching the kind of support, love, and discipline needed to each individual. We also want to establish a solid rapport and make a lasting impression on the young lives God has entrusted to our care by pouring our lives into theirs. We are charged to instill confidence in each youth that God’s Word is sufficient, both in truth and in practice. It is also our desire to draw at least 300 youth to New Covenant by August 2001, by reaching out to the youth in our community. Outreach Ministries tells the Good News of Jesus Christ. It strengthens the unbeliever’s faith in God by setting up outreach services inside and outside, we are seeking the unsaved and "uncharted". We are stirring the hearts of the unbeliever by saturating them with the Gospel and tearing down Satan's strongholds. We demonstrate and teach God’s perfect and unconditional love, speaking life into dead and dieing situations. We provide food boxes, gift certificates, clothes, hot meals, anointing oil and prayer cloths to those in need. It is our desire to set-up a permanent place to provide outreach services. We invite those that have come the outreach to join us at church for fellowship.
the Singles Ministries help, encourage, love, listen, pray and fast on behalf of others. Miracle Ministries is a ministry based on faith, trust and believing in an almighty God. A ministry that believes all things are possible with God, all you have to do is believe. We reach out to the saved as well as the unsaved, by giving witness, praying and preaching, offering Godly advice on how to live Holy lives. Miracle Ministries works together with Homebound Ministries, visiting the sick and giving witness to our living Savior Jesus Christ. It is our desire to go out into the various communities, telling a dying world about Jesus. Praying and trusting that after God’s Word has gone forth, a seed will be planted in a living soul. We pray and expect miracles to happen in people’s lives. We believe if we live holy, love, and encourage our brothers and sisters, God will fulfill his promises.Seniors Ministry...Living Water Ministries is a ministry of healing, hope, and restoration. Currently, two Tuesday’s a month, we hold services at the Hermitage House, home for the Elderly. 10 Souls have received Jesus as their personal Savior the few months we have been there. We minister through music and the Preaching of God’s Word. We also pray and lay hands on the sick that they may be healed. We engage in various outreaches throughout the community, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that evangelistic outreach and the spreading of the gospel is vital for church growth. We would love to come to a Senior Center or Adult Care facility near you! Homebound Ministries is a ministry of healing and deliverance to those that are confined. We will visit and pray for those that are sick and assure them of a speedy recovery. We also minister to the broken hearted, those that are bound and in bondage. Our desire is to reach those that have been placed in hospitals and nursing homes. Making sure they are properly cared for during their stay. When they are discharged, we will visit their homes at least twice a month and minister to their needs.
The purpose and goals of the Foreign Missions Ministry is to evangelize as many countries as possible. Spreading the good news of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ, with special emphasis on Jamaica at this time. We would like to organize street and tent meetings in different areas, distributing religious tracts and other religious materials. We will also have home bible studies and prayer meetings, reaching the sick and shut - ins. This ministry will improve the Church by taking the Gospel of Jesus to other parts of the world and allowing New Covenant Holiness Church to spread its wings. Breaking the cultural barriers by bringing unity among God’s people. As a long-term goal, we would like to establish churches under the umbrella of New Covenant Church. It is our current desire to be as successful in Jamaica as we have been in the Ivory Coast, West Africa. The purpose of the Couples Ministry is to create an atmosphere of harmony and oneness, while decreasing and eliminating all friction, adversarial tendencies, and the need to dominate the marriage. To open and maintain all lines of communication between spouses. To help them learn more about each other as individuals, while appreciating each spouses versatility and differences. To learn how to enhance and increase the quality time spent together among spouses. To conduct oneself in the manner befitting a Christian, regardless of the circumstances, situation, or adversity. The following goals are set for the church: To create a oneness of the spirit with spouses as they grow together in the Lord. To increase church attendance by both spouses and their families. To be a blessing to other married couples in the community. In doing this, God will allow the Couples Ministry to build marriages, and tighten the bonds of matrimony through him
The purpose of the church Family Ministry is to bring the church body together as a “family”. We conduct orientation and educational programs for all new members. We will inform them of who we are and help familiarize them with the different programs and functions at New Covenant. It is our desire to provide biblical teaching to the new babes in Christ through our mentoring program. It is also our desire to publish a New Covenant Church Directory. Our “Touch Ministry” will allow us the opportunity to communicate and keep in touch with every participating New Covenant member. We are currently in our start up phase and we welcome any ideas you may have. Men's Ministry : Focuses on the men of the church, encouraging men to continue to be leaders and present themselves as leaders of the church in a godly manner.Young Men's Ministry Specializing in the lives of young men, serving as a mentor, friend, brother, and father when needed. Public Perspective Ministry : Advertising Church News in a professional and Christian Manner. Music Education Enhancement Ministry : Coordinating musical workshops, musical programs, providing musical services in absence of minister of music, and other areas of the music ministry as instructed by the Pastor and Bishop.
